"BJJ changed my life—it showed me direction and a path. It gave me a family and a sense of what life is about. What I enjoy most is helping children whose lives I can change: my own as well as others'." FOREVER GRATEFUL R.I.P. NICHOLAS HUNTER BROOKS

"BJJ is a sport that has shaped me for more than a third of my life. You do not even know what you are capable of until you have touched complete exhaustion several times and discovered what you can really do. That connects easily with other areas of life—you learn that steady work takes you far."
Juraj Čermák

I walked into BJJ Slovakia as a child, but I left as someone who knows what discipline, determination, and respect mean. My coach showed me that sport is not only about strength, but about values I carry for life and bring into my personal life as well.

Kids? Why I started and what keeps me there?
I started because someone asked if I could help with kids' training. I saw a lot of positives in that, so I agreed. Time flew by, and coaching children became a hobby, a joy, and part of my life. Working with children is something where you do not only give—you receive as well.
Razvan Octavian Amarandei
I began coaching children about two years ago when my daughter started training too. With so many kids on the mat, I naturally helped the head coach—and working with young fighters quickly drew me in.
Michal BémMicahl Bém
I chose to lead kids' classes because I want children to experience, in a safe environment, the same joy of movement and friendship that I find on the mats. BJJ is a great way to teach discipline, respect, and belief in their own abilities—on the mat and beyond—through play.
Miroslav Kozák
“We will raise the kind of children we teach them to be… BJJ is not about how many times you win—it is like life—it is about how many times you stand up to a challenge face to face… upright, unbroken… again and again. The bigger the challenge, the sweeter the reward.”
